Last Letter to parents
After six most enjoyable years at William Parker it is with both sadness and joy that I write this.
This is not only the end of my headship at this superb sports college but also the end of my teaching career which extends over five decades. The memories are many and varied but, above all, are very enjoyable.
The students, parents, staff and governors at William Parker have helped to make these years a most rewarding experience. I have seen the College change in so many ways and I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge we have faced together.
This is not the time to issue a long list of events but to thank the whole College community for their support and hard work in ensuring that every student has the best opportunity to maximise their potential whilst at William Parker.
As you know my wife Sue is also leaving as the Learning Support Co-ordinator and I can say that we have both seen a real embodiment of “Care”, “Respect” and “Achievement” during the last six years and we extend every best wish for those involved in the future of William Parker Sports College.
